A daily scan of ~1,100 US stocks and ETFs, surfacing names at a meaningful discount from their 52-week range — then scoring whether the trade belongs in shares or LEAPS options.
Each row shows one or more signal badges. Here's what they mean:
Once you spot a setup, the Vehicle Score tells you how to express it. It weighs IV rank (are options cheap?), trend strength, catalyst density, and analyst/fundamental conviction into a single 0–10 score.
- LEAPS ≥7
- Options are cheap relative to history, trend is confirmed, and meaningful upside catalysts exist. The leverage is worth the premium — LEAPS are the preferred expression.
- STOCK 4–6
- Decent setup, but options are too expensive, momentum is mixed, or conviction signals are limited. Plain shares are the cleaner expression.
- PASS <4
- Risk/reward isn’t asymmetric enough to act on right now. The row stays visible so you can monitor and revisit if conditions improve.
- Scan the signal column — Near Low is highest urgency; Base is safer entry. Pullback is a different trade: healthy trend, not a distressed name.
- Check the Vehicle Score — LEAPS if options are cheap and trend is intact; STOCK if not. Ignore PASS rows unless you have a specific thesis.
- Open the dossier — click any row for the full picture: chart with 52w levels, LEAPS ladder, analyst targets, insider transactions, and sentiment-tagged news.
- Filter to your edge — narrow by sector, RSI, analyst rec, IV rank, earnings window, or any column. Presets at the top of the filter panel cover common setups.
Nothing on this site is financial advice. The Symbol Screen is a research tool for informational and educational use only. Signals, vehicle scores, and LEAPS suggestions are systematic outputs — they are not personalised to your situation, risk tolerance, or objectives, and are not a recommendation to buy or sell any security.
Options are speculative and can expire worthless — unlike shares, they cannot simply recover given more time. Size accordingly and consult a licensed financial professional before trading.
